The International School-Workshop of Physics 2026 at IIP in Natal, Brazil, will be devoted to the unique physics and fascinating technological perspectives of Quantum Rings. Quantum Rings constitute an important heuristically valuable playground for fundamental quantum mechanical paradigm and topological physics as well as their implementation in a broad variety of emerging quantum technologies.

The School-Workshop will represent Quantum Rings as a special class of modern high-tech materials structures at the nanoscale. We will deal with their formation by molecular beam epitaxy and droplet epitaxy of semiconductors, their topology-driven electronic, optical, and magnetic properties. Highly complex theoretical models will be discussed which have been developed to adequately explain the specific features of Quantum Rings. We will specially emphasize development of low-cost high-performance electronic, spintronic, magnetic, optoelectronic and information processing devices based on various doubly-connected structures.

The International School-Workshop on Quantum Rings 2026 will offer an exceptional opportunity for participants to engage with leading national and international researchers at the forefront of nanoscience and quantum technologies.
