O X-Meeting é o principal encontro na área de Bioinformática e Biologia Computacional no Brasil que ocorre anualmente em algum estado da Federação indicado por um grupo local ou escolhido pela Diretoria Executiva da AB3C. A partir da edição de 2023 há a alteração da data para a realização deste evento, sendo realizado sempre no primeiro semestre do ano. Esta alteração visa colocar o X-Meeting como um dos primeiros eventos de Médio/grande porte do ano, escapando assim da ocorrência de eventos paralelos de áreas correlatas que competiam tanto pela inscrição do público alvo como a atenção de empresas para formalização de parcerias.

The X-Meeting is the main meeting in the field of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in Brazil, which takes place annually in a state of the Federation indicated by a local group or chosen by the AB3C Executive Board. As of the 2023 edition, the date for this event has changed, and it will always be held in the first half of the year. This change aims to make the X-Meeting one of the first medium/large events of the year, thus avoiding the occurrence of parallel events in related areas that compete for both the target audience and the attention of companies to formalize partnerships.
