XI SIMPÓSIO EM CIÊNCIA E TECNOLOGIA AMBIENTAL

I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The Symposium on Environmental Science and Technology and the International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology are events organized by the Graduate Program in Environmental Science and Technology (PPGCTA) of the Federal University of the Southern Border (UFFS), Erechim campus-RS.
The theme of this year's event is "Climate Change: Science and Technology in the mitigation of anthropogenic actions". We will have renowned national and international names giving online lectures, mini-courses being offered and many works being disseminated.
The objective is to promote the dissemination of knowledge through the dissemination of theoretical and practical studies in the areas of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, in addition to promoting multidisciplinary debate and allowing interaction between academics, professors and autonomous professionals from different regions of Brazil and neighboring countries.
This year we will hold our first international edition. Get ready and participate!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The program consists of mini-courses on the afternoons of November 6 and 7, and oral presentations of the papers on November 8 - and lectures on the three nights (November 6, 7 and 8), all online.

Places in the mini-courses are limited, so sign up in the activities tab.

It is not necessary to register for lectures.

About Registration:
Registration of Works (projects and works with results): until October 02, 2024
Registration of listeners: until November 05, 2024

About the papers to be submitted:

Papers can be of two categories:

· (1) Projects – in this category must be submitted scientific study projects, related to the area of science Environmental. The abstract should contain a brief introduction containing the research problem, objectives, methodology and expected results. This category is to promote works that you don't have yet findings.

· (2) Works with results: in this category must be submitted scientific papers with introduction, objectives, methodology, Results and discussion.

POSTERS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION, ALONG WITH THE ABSTRACT.

The form of presentation of the banners (posters) will be by dissemination on instagram on the days of the event: https://www.instagram.com/ ppgcta_uffs/

The banners (poster) can also be presented orally, on November 08, 2024, in the afternoon. All papers presented orally will be competing for the "Best Works" award.

ABOUT ORAL PRESENTATION: The presentations will be a maximum of 05 minutes and it is at the discretion of the participant to use the poster submitted during registration or make a brief slide presentation. The author must inform at the time of registration if he will make the presentation orally or if he will only send the banner for dissemination on social networks. As for the presentations, they will take place via Even3, and the presenter will be informed via email of the information a week before the event.
