DEVIDO A PANDEMIA DO CORONAVIRUS A ESCOLA ESTÁ SUSPENSA

The International Summer School will take place at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The event aims to bring together researchers in both  applied and  theoretical subjects, such as Dynamical Systems, Differential Geometry and PDEs. The School focuses primarily on vortex dynamics, geophysical fluid dynamics and laboratory experiments.  Generalizations of classical gravitational theory and incompressible fluid dynamics to other geometries than the usual three dimensional Euclidean space are also considered.

As the School tries to provide a common background for students  and encourage collaborations between more established researchers, there will be three minicourses, a moderate number of lectures and a poster session (with oral presentations). The latter is  open to students and postdocs, who are particularly welcome.
