SUBMISSIONS EXTENDED UNTIL 18/04.
The seventh edition
of the International Seminar on Cultural Psychology will take
place in the city of Recife, from April 22 to 24, 2024,
alongside the II Workshop on Cultural Psychology, at the Federal
Rural University of Pernambuco.
The
event will feature short lectures related to the Seminar, with discussions on
topics related to Cultural Psychology. Additionally, within the scope of the II
Workshop on Cultural Psychology, the event will focus on the production and
discussion of theoretical and empirical works. That is to say, submitted works
will not undergo peer review but will be presented and discussed in coordinated
sessions, mediated by commentators. In this way, we encourage the submission of
texts stemming from projects, undergraduate and graduate courses, and other
productions that are characterized as initial writing of research ideas in
Cultural Psychology.
As an event that brings together
various research groups in Cultural Psychology from Brazil and around the
world, the seminar aims to discuss current themes at the intersection of
culture and processes of meaning construction. We invite professors, researchers,
undergraduate and graduate students, and other enthusiasts of Cultural
Psychology to participate in the event and share their research and extension
experiences.
The VII International
Seminar on Cultural Psychology and II Workshop on Cultural
Psychology are organized in partnership between the Federal
Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), Federal University of
Pernambuco (UFPE), Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE),
and Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Additionally, the
event is supported by the Doctoral Program in Teaching - RENOEN (UFRPE),
Graduate Program in Cognitive Psychology (UFPE), and Graduate
Program in Psychology (UFBA).
