Shaping the Future of Biology

The event will be held in the Ministro João Alberto Lins de Barros Auditorium at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF), located in Urca, Rio de Janeiro.

Systems Biology is an inherently interdisciplinary field that seeks to understand biological phenomena across multiple scales, from cells and tissues to whole organisms, through an integrated perspective. This approach relies on methods and tools from Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering, promoting a unified view of biological processes.


This event seeks to mobilize this potential by fostering interaction among researchers from diverse backgrounds and contributing to the training of a new generation of scientists with a broad, systems-level view of biology. It will also provide a platform for establishing national and international collaborations.
