Systems Biology is an inherently interdisciplinary field that aims to understand biological phenomena across multiple scales, from organisms to tissues and cells, through an integrated perspective. This approach relies on methods and tools from Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering, promoting a unified view of biological processes.
This event seeks to mobilize this potential by fostering integration among researchers from diverse backgrounds and by promoting the training of new scientists with a broad, systems-level view of biology. It will also serve as a platform for establishing national and international collaborations. Accordingly, the list of speakers includes researchers from Brazil’s Northeast, South, and Southeast regions, as well as international participants from the United States and Europe, with special emphasis in this edition on the five founding BRICS countries.
