V Brazilian Colloquium of Morphology

The V Brazilian Colloquium of Morphology will be held from 5th to 6th November, 2020, at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), in Curitiba (state of Paraná), Brazil. In this edition, the Colloquium honors the works of Professor Antônio Sandmann (in memoriam). One day before the event, on November 4, 2020, there will be one short-course with the invited professors Knut Tarald Taraldsen and Lucie Taraldsen Medová; participants will receive 6-hour certificate for it.

The Colloquium will accept up to ten 30-minute oral presentations and will feature three poster sessions. We invite submission of abstracts for poster or oral presentations, devoted to theoretical approaches to the Morphology of natural languages and its interfaces. We welcome contributions from researchers of all academic levels.

Abstracts should be anonymous, written in English, and must include the theoretical framework adopted, the hypotheses and the objectives of the presentation. They should not be longer than two pages, including references and examples, with at least 1-inch margins on all sides, font size 12 pt Times New Roman. One person can submit at most one abstract as a sole author and one abstract as co-author; or two co-authored abstracts. Please indicate in your abstract whether you would like it to be considered for an oral presentation, a poster, or both.
