Elevator Pitch
Elevator Pitch Preparation Instructions
ABOUT ELEVATOR PITCH:
a. An elevator pitch is a brief presentation of an idea, project, product, process, or service, designed to be delivered in the short amount of time that an elevator ride offers, usually between 30 seconds and 1 minute. The goal is to arouse the interest of the listener, whether they are a potential investor, customer or partner, presenting in a concise and impactful way the value and uniqueness of the proposal.
b. The concept of elevator pitch applies to a wide range of professionals, including entrepreneurs, startups, vendors, researchers, and any individual who needs to quickly communicate the value of an idea or innovation. It is especially relevant for those seeking funding, support, or strategic partnerships, providing an opportunity to make a memorable first impression.
c. The relevance of the elevator pitch lies in its effectiveness in quickly conveying the essence of a proposal, maximizing impact in a short time. In a world where attention is a scarce resource, being able to capture and retain the interest of potential stakeholders efficiently is crucial. A good elevator pitch should be able to: Highlight Problem: Clearly present the problem or need that the proposal aims to solve; Propose the solution: Succinctly describe how the product, service, or idea solves this problem effectively; Show Differentials: Highlight what makes the proposal unique in relation to other solutions on the market; Arouse Interest: Generate enough curiosity and interest to motivate a more in-depth conversation after the pitch.
