About USP BRICS Conference

Since 2017, the BRICS Study Group of the University of São Paulo (GEBRICS-USP) has been promoting the BRICS Conferences. Every year, our main goal is to bring together speakers from different countries and a diverse backgroud to discuss important issues related to BRICS. The Conference always invites researchers, leaders and diplomatic representatives from all BRICS’ countries.

This year, the Conference's title is "BRICS in a multipolar world: searching for a holistic strategy for development". The subject has been chosen because we face the necessity of rethinking BRICS' role in the modern world. 

Ten panels have been formed to approach the main subject from different angles.
