Pharmacognosy is a field within the Pharmaceutical Sciences that studies, from chemical and pharmacological perspectives, the active principles of natural origin (plants, animals, microorganisms, marine organisms), as well as topics related to medicinal plants, herbal medicines, and Phytotherapy. In this context, Trends in Pharmacognosy aims to promote the integration of researchers (national and international professionals and graduate students) in areas of medicinal plant, herbal medicine, and natural product research.

The event “Trends in Pharmacognosy” will offer a significant contribution to the training and professional enhancement of all participants involved, including early-career researchers (master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral students), faculty members, technicians, and professionals working in the areas of pharmacognosy, pharmacology, biotechnology, natural products chemistry, and related sciences. By bringing together leading national and international experts, the event will provide participants with:
