VI SEMINÁRIO NACIONAL E I SEMINÁRIO INTERNACIONAL PRETAS ACADÊMICAS

The Seminar "Black Scholars: Black Female Researchers in Academia" is a space for the socialization of research that has been part of the July of Black Paraná program since 2019. In 2020, due to the pandemic, the II Seminar Pretas Acadêmicas was held remotely and from 2021, in its 3rd edition, it took on a hybrid character, expanding its activities to the online and face-to-face modality. The objective of the seminar is to promote the meeting of black students and researchers at different levels of formation and thus foster the intellectual, academic/activist production of black women. It seeks to counter the black invisibility that still persists, and also to know and honor the academic work of black women from Paraná and other states. We aim to know, honor and encourage the academic production and the improvement of the curriculum of black students and researchers in the area of humanities, applied social, exact, biological, health, agrarian and technological. Early-stage, in-progress, or out-of-work is welcome, as long as they are of authored by black women who research ethnic-racial relations and related topics.
