The International Seminar on Agribusiness, Regional Development and Entrepreneurship - SEMIARE 2025, will be held from October 7 to 10, 2025, in a hybrid format — in person in the city of Lages (SC) and with online transmission.
With the purpose of boosting agribusiness, regional development and entrepreneurship, SEMIARE promotes the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge focused on management, innovation and sustainability.
The event stands out as a dynamic space for the exchange of experiences between researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals and specialists — both from Brazil and abroad — with an emphasis on the international partnership with the Alentejo region in Portugal.
The program will feature lectures, round tables, workshops and presentations of scientific research, addressing topics such as strategic management in agribusiness, technological innovation, environmental sustainability and appreciation of local products, with emphasis on products with Geographical Indication (GI).
SEMIARE 2025 consolidates itself as an environment conducive to learning and innovation, reinforcing its relevance for sustainable development and the appreciation of regional vocations.
Note: technical visits will take place in the mountainous region of Santa Catarina as pre- and post-event activities.
