QRCA is an international network that was founded in 2018 at the University of São Paulo (USP) to bring together researchers interested in alternative approaches to accounting research, particularly in Latin America. Since then, the event has grown into a collaborative and welcoming space where experienced scholars and early-career researchers exchange ideas, receive constructive feedback, and build bridges across different cultures, languages, and fields of knowledge.
With presentations in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, the conference values respect, diversity, and openness to dialogue, fostering deep and reflective discussions. More than an academic meeting, QRCA is a plural community committed to solidarity, inclusion, and the overcoming of theoretical, disciplinary, and cultural barriers, thereby strengthening the connection between academia and society.
