PEME for BRICS BRASIL 2018 UFOP

The first International Congress on Policy, Energy, Metallurgy and the Environment for BRICS - PEME for BRICS - will be held at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP) MG, Brazil, from April 10 to 12, 2018. The PEME for BRICS is a series of congresses to be held once a year, in a Brazilian initiative. The 1st PEME International Congress for BRICS 2018 aims to create an international forum for academics, researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs in all BRICS countries and worldwide to discuss results and proposals on the most solid issues related to public policies related to the environment ; technologies in energy and metallurgy. The academic challenge is multidisciplinary. It seeks to improve, in accordance with the Xiamen Declaration, cooperation in science, technology and innovation (ITS) to forge synergies in harnessing the new growth momentum for our five economies and to continue to face the development challenges we face. This congress also aims to support efforts and commitments to promote green development and the low carbon economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication, strengthen BRICS climate change cooperation and expand green funding.
