The III Karyokinesis Symposium maintains the event's initial idea of creating opportunities for scientific discussion in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology. Initially, inspired by the capacity of cells to divide and multiply simultaneously, the event premise is to enable researchers to share and multiply knowledge on cell, molecular and developmental biology. Nevertheless, in 2021, the organizing committee proposes an innovative idea, bringing an international event that will have scientific dissemination as its main focus. Therefore, the slogan Science: work in progress has been created.
The event was idealized by the student representatives and post doctorate of the Graduate Program in Cell and Developmental Biology (PPGBCD) at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), under the guidance of Andrea Rita Marrero, PhD and will consist of lectures and round-tables set up with national and international speakers with expertise in the addressed fields. Furthermore, the event will feature oral presentations of the best abstracts in the different thematic areas proposed: cell, molecular, and developmental biology, related areas, research, teaching and extension, but mainly about science dissemination!

the participants area! In addition, there will be an exhibition of abstracts approved at the event! At Even3, you will also have
access to the links to follow the lives on the Youtube channel:
PPGBCD – UFSC. During the lectures, at Even3, links will be
available for participants to confirm their presence, for later production of
certificates!

1. Como devo fazer a submissão do resumo?
R: Após ler as "Diretrizes para o III Karyokinesis Symposium", clique em "Submit Paper" neste mesmo site. Você será direcionado(a) para a página de submissões. Baixe o template no idioma que o seu resumo será produzido e submeta na modalidade do idioma correspondente (inglês, português ou espanhol). Selecione a área temática (categorias I, II, III e IV), insira o título do seu resumo, anexe os arquivos com e sem identificação e também adicione os autores.
2. Qual será o idioma do evento?
R: As palestras, mediações e apresentações poderão ser realizadas em português, inglês ou espanhol. Desse modo, cada convidado optará pelo idioma de sua preferência.
3. Fiz a inscrição pelo método de pagamento PIX mas não recebi o QR code para finalizar e por isso a minha inscrição não está confirmada. O que fazer?
R: A plataforma demora em torno de 15 minutos para gerar o código de PIX, por isso é necessário aguardar esse momento. Após isso, atualize a página de inscrição e o código estará disponível para você finalizar o pagamento.
4. Tento realizar minha inscrição mas aparece apenas uma página em branco. O que fazer?
R: Às vezes tentar realizar a inscrição por outro navegador em seu computador ou celular pode solucionar o problema. Lembrando que quando você clicar no botão "Registration", você será direcionado para outra página com o formulário de inscrição.
5. Os dados submetidos precisam ser inéditos?
R: Os dados do trabalho não precisam ser, mas o resumo, análise e discussão sim.
6. Revisões são aceitas?
R: Sim, revisões relacionadas com a Covid-19 devem ser submetidas na Categoria III, enquanto que as demais na Categoria IV.
7. Li nas diretrizes que preciso enviar dois arquivos, um com identificação e um sem. Isso significa que preciso adquirir duas submissões?
R: Não, os dois arquivos em PDF são submetidos em uma única submissão. Os arquivos não precisam ser enviados em uma pasta zipada, há dois espaços para o envio de arquivos no momento da submissão.
