The Workshop on Nonlinear Dynamics and Statistical Mechanics aims to bring together researchers, faculty members, students, and invited guests to discuss recent advances in nonlinear science, complex systems, and modern statistical physics. The meeting will provide a stimulating environment for the exchange of ideas, the presentation of new results, and the development of future collaborations.
Special attention will be given to current topics such as particle transport in chaotic seas, anomalous diffusion, scaling properties, phase transitions in nonlinear systems, and the transition from integrability to non-integrability. Additional themes in complex dynamics, chaos, stochastic processes, and emergent phenomena will also be part of the scientific discussions.
The event will take place over three days, from June 9 to 11, 2026, with a format designed to encourage interaction: focused talks, open discussions, and ample time for scientific exchange. Beyond presenting recent results obtained by our group and collaborators, the workshop will celebrate two important milestones: the 20th anniversary of the Research Group on Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics (GISCDNL) and the 50th anniversary of UNESP.
We warmly welcome all participants to join us in Rio Claro for this special occasion of science, celebration, and collaboration.
