About the Event

BRICS+: Contributions to the Emerging Multipolar Order

Since 2017, the BRICS Study Group at the University of São Paulo (GEBRICS/USP) has been hosting the BRICS Conferences. Each year, our main goal is to bring together speakers from different countries and create a diverse environment to discuss important issues related to BRICS. The Conference always invites researchers, leaders, and diplomatic representatives from all BRICS countries.

In 2025, we are pleased to host the IX BRICS Conference, which will take place from October 27 to 31. This year’s theme is "BRICS+: Contributions to the Emerging Multipolar Order", highlighting the growing role of BRICS in shaping a more balanced and cooperative international system.

This edition is particularly significant: it marks the 10th anniversary of GEBRICS and takes place during Brazil’s presidency of the group, further strengthening the importance of the debates and perspectives to be shared.

We look forward to welcoming you to this special milestone in our journey!

Certificates

This event provides a certificate

All participants who attend at least 75% of the lectures will be eligible to receive a certificate at the end of the event. To validate attendance, a presence list will be made available at the beginning of each panel in the YouTube chat, and it is essential that participants fill it out to confirm their participation. 

Please note that certificates will not be issued individually for each lecture; instead, a single certificate will be provided at the conclusion of the event, recognizing the overall engagement.

The certificate will be sent by email to all eligible participants within 30 days after the end of the event.
