NORMAS PARA SUBMISSÃO DE TRABALHOS NO I SIMPOSIO INTERNACIONAL
DE SEPSE NA MEDICINA VETERINÁRIA (ISISMV)
Prazos para envio:
Os resumos científicos deverão ser enviados a partir de 05 de junho de 2026 até o
dia 31 de julho de 2026. Cada autor poderá enviar até 2 resumos
Regras Gerais
- Trabalhos fora da formatação e do padrão de submissão serão automaticamente rejeitados.
- Serão aceitos apenas 2 (dois) trabalhos científicos por autor inscrito como responsável pelo resumo, sejam eles na modalidade simples e/ou fotográfico.
- Limite de autores: Cada resumo poderá ter até 8 (oito) autores.
- O resumo deverá ser original, inédito e versar sobre uma das áreas previstas no I Simpósio Internacional de Sepse na Medicina Veterinária (ISISMV).
- O texto deverá ser redigido em português ou inglês. Recomendamos conferir cuidadosamente todo o conteúdo do resumo, inclusive os dados para contato com o autor responsável.
- Serão aceitos estudos prospectivos, retrospectivos e relatos de caso.
Submissão dos trabalhos
- Um dos autores deve estar obrigatoriamente inscrito no I Simpósio Internacional de Sepse na Medicina Veterinária (ISISMV).
Áreas Temáticas
- Apenas serão considerados os trabalhos diretamente relacionados às áreas de Clínica Médica, Patologia Clínica, Hematologia e Imunologia veterinárias.
- Os temas propostos são: Inflamação, Sepse e Intensivismo.
Normas para Resumo Simples
- O título deve ser centralizado, em letras maiúsculas, fonte Arial, tamanho 11 e de cor azul, conforme estabelecido no modelo disponibilizado no site de inscrição.
- O nome dos autores (nome completo sem abreviações) deve ser enumerado de acordo com a instituição na qual pertence, centralizado, fonte Arial, tamanho 10.
- O e-mail do autor correspondente deve vir logo abaixo do nome dos autores, centralizado, fonte Arial, tamanho 10.
- O resumo deve conter, no máximo, 250 palavras, justificado (sem parágrafo), tamanho 11, fonte Arial e espaçamento simples.
- Palavras-chave: Mínimo 3 e máximo 5, não devendo repetir aquelas contidas no título.
- Deve haver, no máximo, 3 referências. Para referências com mais de um autor, o nome do primeiro deve aparecer abreviado e o restante apenas “etal”, conforme demonstrado no modelo disponibilizado no site de inscrição.
- Citar financiadores, quando houver.
Normas para Resumo Fotográfico
- O título deve ser centralizado, em letras maiúsculas, fonte Arial, tamanho 11 e de cor azul, conforme estabelecido no modelo disponibilizado no site de inscrição.
- O nome dos autores (nome completo sem abreviações) deve ser enumerado de acordo com a instituição na qual pertence, centralizado, fonte Arial, tamanho 10.
- O e-mail do autor correspondente deve vir logo abaixo do nome dos autores, centralizado, fonte Arial, tamanho 10.
- O resumo deve conter, no máximo, 150 palavras, justificado (sem parágrafo), tamanho 11, fonte Arial e espaçamento simples.
- Palavras-chave: Mínimo 3 e máximo 5, não devendo repetir aquelas contidas no título.
- Não deve conter referências
- A imagem deve ser original, inédita e enquadrada no escopo do I Simpósio Internacional de Sepse na Medicina Veterinária (ISISMV).
- A imagem digital deve ser nítida e estar no formato JPG ou JPEG. Aceitam-se imagens produzidas por instrumentos portáteis (máquinas fotográficas e smartphones) desde que possuam resolução adequada.
- Os autores podem optar por realizar pranchas fotográficas, entretanto, deve-se tomar o cuidado para manter a resolução e a qualidade da informação apresentada. Na legenda deve conter a identificação do que se trata cada imagem da prancha e setas para apontar estruturas específicas.
- As imagens de microscópios não devem conter a zona circular das oculares.
- O nome do equipamento utilizado para captura da imagem, aumento/objetiva e lentes utilizadas são informações obrigatórios na legenda.
- A legenda autoexplicativa da imagem é obrigatória e não será contabilizada no número de palavras.
- Citar financiadores, quando houver.
Publicação e premiação dos resumos
- Todos os resumos aprovados serão publicados em Anais desenvolvido para o I Simpósio Internacional de Sepse na Medicina Veterinária (ISISMV).
- O melhor resumo receberá um convite para ser apresentado na modalidade oral ao final do segundo dia do evento (12/09/2026).

About the event
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION TO THE I INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON SEPSIS IN VETERINARY MEDICINE (ISISVM)
Submission Deadline
Scientific abstracts may be submitted from June 5, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Each author may submit up to two (2) abstracts.
General rules
- Abstracts that do not comply with the formatting and submission requirements will be automatically rejected.
- Only two (2) scientific works per registered author acting as the corresponding author will be accepted, regardless of whether they are submitted as standard abstracts and/or photographic abstracts.
- Author limit: Each abstract may include up to eight (8) authors.
- The abstract must be original, unpublished, and related to one of the areas covered by the I International Symposium on Sepsis in Veterinary Medicine (ISISVM).
- Abstracts may be written in either Portuguese or English. Authors are strongly encouraged to carefully review all content, including the contact information of the corresponding author.
- Prospective studies, retrospective studies, and case reports will be accepted.
Abstract submission
- At least one of the authors must be registered for the I International Symposium on Sepsis in Veterinary Medicine (ISISVM).
Thematic areas
- Only studies directly related to Veterinary Internal Medicine, Clinical Pathology, Hematology, and Immunology will be considered.
- Suggested topics include: Inflammation, Sepsis and Critical Care Medicine
Guidelines for standard abstracts
- The title must be centered, written in uppercase letters, Arial font, size 11, and blue color, according to the template available on the registration website.
- Authors' names (full names without abbreviations) must be listed and numbered according to their institutional affiliations, centered, Arial font, size 10.
- The corresponding author's e-mail address must appear immediately below the authors' names, centered, Arial font, size 10.
- The abstract must contain a maximum of 250 words, be justified (without paragraph breaks), written in Arial font, size 11, with single line spacing.
- Keywords: Minimum of three (3) and maximum of five (5), and they must not duplicate words already used in the title.
- A maximum of three (3) references is allowed. For references with multiple authors, the first author's name should be abbreviated, followed by "et al.", as demonstrated in the template available on the registration website.
- Funding sources must be acknowledged when applicable.
Guidelines for photographic abstracts
- The title must be centered, written in uppercase letters, Arial font, size 11, and blue color, according to the template available on the registration website.
- Authors' names (full names without abbreviations) must be listed and numbered according to their institutional affiliations, centered, Arial font, size 10.
- The corresponding author's e-mail address must appear immediately below the authors' names, centered, Arial font, size 10.
- The abstract must contain a maximum of 150 words, be justified (without paragraph breaks), written in Arial font, size 11, with single line spacing.
- Keywords: Minimum of three (3) and maximum of five (5), and they must not duplicate words already used in the title.
- References are not permitted.
- The image must be original, unpublished, and within the scope of the I International Symposium on Sepsis in Veterinary Medicine (ISISVM).
- Digital images must be clear and submitted in JPG or JPEG format. Images captured using portable devices (cameras or smartphones) will be accepted provided they have adequate resolution.
- Authors may choose to create photographic panels; however, image resolution and information quality must be preserved. The figure legend must identify each image included in the panel and use arrows to indicate specific structures when necessary.
- Microscopic images must not include the circular border of the eyepieces.
- The name of the equipment used to capture the image, magnification/objective, and lenses used are mandatory information and must be included in the figure legend.
- A self-explanatory figure legend is mandatory and will not be counted toward the word limit.
- Funding sources must be acknowledged when applicable.
Publication and awards
- All approved abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of the I International Symposium on Sepsis in Veterinary Medicine (ISISVM).
- The best abstract will receive an invitation for an oral presentation at the end of the second day of the event (September 12, 2026).
