iGEM Jamboree Meetup Brazil

Every year, iGEMers from all over the world gather to celebrate a year of work and achievements. This year - due to international traveling restrictions - we wouldn’t be able to reunite all iGEMers in one single event. That’s why we invite you to come to the city of São Carlos, in the state of São Paulo (Brazil), to safely participate in one of the Jamboree satellite events. The Brazilian iGEM Ambassadors and SynBio Brasil are organizing 3 days of activities for iGEM students, advisors, PIs and alumni from the competition, and for the general public interested in synthetic biology. About the venue

We’re partnering with ONOVOLAB to promote an astonishing event for everyone! We are also working to implement online participation, and hope to share more information about this soon. For now, registrations are open only for in-person participation, so please be sure you will be able to travel to São Carlos (SP) before registering. COVID-19 guidelines

Masks will be required during the event. We will also request:

• Proof of vaccination of one dose + negative COVID test prior to the event (48h for PCR and 24h for antigen test), or
• Proof of complete vaccination (two doses or single-dose vaccine).
