The I Symposium on Emerging Pollutants will be a parallel event to the São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Emerging Pollutants (ESPCA). Symposium participants will have access only to the school's theoretical classes, delivered by Brazilian and international researchers, covering a variety of topics related to emerging pollutants—from detection to remediation. The symposium participants will attend only the theoretical classes during the mornings from September 2nd to 8th. The language of both the school and the symposium will be English, with no simultaneous translation.
The I Symposium on Emerging Pollutants will be a multidisciplinary platform to raise awareness about emerging pollutants, their diverse nature, potential risks and possible solutions to address this problem.
Symposium participants will not receive any funding from the ESPCA to cover their expenses during the event.
