The I International Congress of the Emíli@ Network and the XXIV ICH Symposium invite researchers, students, professionals, public managers and educational communities to reflect on one of the greatest challenges of our time: the guarantee of the rights of children, adolescents and young people in contexts marked by deep social, territorial, ethnic-racial, gender and generational inequalities.
More than an academic event, the Congress is a space for dialogue, collective construction and international cooperation, bringing together different knowledge, experiences and perspectives to strengthen public policies for comprehensive care for new generations. Continuing a consolidated trajectory of national and international debates and initiatives, the meeting expands reflections and articulations around education, culture, protection against violence, digital inclusion, gender equality and social participation.
With a transgenerational and transnational proposal, the event promotes exchange between Ibero-American countries, universities, public managers, social movements and communities, reaffirming active listening to children, adolescents and young people as a fundamental principle for the construction of fairer and more effective policies.
Inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, the Congress represents a call for collective responsibility, cooperation, and commitment to more inclusive, democratic, and sustainable futures. A meeting to think, dialogue and build paths that place children, adolescents and young people at the center of social and political priorities.
