Epigenetics is strictly associated with phenotype, adaptation, and response to stimuli. It helps our extensive, although limited, genome to be even more plastic. Epigenetics is a field in constant evolution.

EpiWED: I Workshop on Epigenetics of Diseases is an event aimed at researchers, students, and professionals in the health sciences and related fields.

Over two intensive days, participants will have access to lectures from renowned Brazilian and international researchers in the field of epigenetics. There will also be a roundtable discussion encouraging active participation from the audience, fostering insightful exchanges and collaborative learning.

This workshop, conducted in English and Portuguese, will take place at the Clube da Aeronáutica in Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Brazil.

EpiWED: I Workshop on Epigenetics of Diseases é um evento destinado a pesquisadores, estudantes e profissionais das ciências da saúde e áreas afins.

Durante dois dias intensivos, os participantes terão acesso a palestras de renomados pesquisadores brasileiros e internacionais na área da epigenética. Haverá também uma mesa-redonda que incentivará a participação ativa do público, promovendo trocas de ideias e aprendizados colaborativos.

EpiWED will take place October 23-24, 2024.

💡 What does the registration fee include?

The registration fee includes coffee breaks each day of the workshop.

⚠️ Is there a limit on registrations for EpiWED?

Yes, we have a limit of 130 registrations due to space constraints.

💡 Cancellation and Refund Information

Unfortunately, refunds are no longer available, as we are now within 15 days of the event. At this stage, the funds collected have already been allocated to cover operational and logistical expenses necessary for the event's execution. We appreciate your understanding.

🔍 About Registration

Registration for attendance and for the poster session at EpiWED will open on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Onsite registrations will be accepted only if there are still available spots.

Sunday, September 15, is the final day to submit for poster session. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by late-September.

🔒 What happens if the number of submitted poster abstracts exceeds the available space?

If the number of submitted poster abstracts exceeds the space, the organizers will select the abstracts that are most relevant to the conference theme.
