The I ENGLISH LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND TEACHING SYMPOSIUM seeks to stimulate a debate about teaching the English language and its literatures, as this topic has been gaining space on the agenda of undergraduate courses. Therefore, the objective of the event is to promote discussions about challenges and perspectives for teaching the English language and its literatures, as well as the role of the literature professional in different educational spaces and ways to better disseminate the knowledge built in the area. From Applied Linguistics and/or Literature, the interest in issues of language use, inside or outside the school context, focuses on different actions that the event intends to address. Thematic axes are: - Teaching-learning of the English Language, - Teaching-learning of Literature, - Languages, Discourse and Society, - Technology and Language Teaching, - Digital Literature. UFR students, graduates, Basic Education teachers and students from other universities will participate in the event.
