The seminar is to honor and pay respect to the contributions of Professor Joseph Raz to Philosophy of Law. Joseph Raz was professor of Oxford University (Baliol College), Columbia University and King´s College London. He was winner of International Prizes and delivers lecturers and seminars around the world. This seminar will explore contributions to Philosophy of Law from Joseph Raz. However, it is fair to mention that Joseph Raz contributed to international law, political sciences and philosophy. Considering all the limitations due to various factors the seminar has focused on one of his areas of research. It will be only a presentation from Professors invited due to time consideration.
This activity results from a joint effort of faculty members of the Universidad Mayor de Chile, Universidade Federal do Maranhão, Universidad Columbia del Paraguay y de la Faculdade de Direito de Vitória, and also by the contributions of all the invited speakers and assistants.
