TECHNO-SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS

CONSTRUMETAL CONGRESS

The call for techno-scientific contributions to CONSTRUMETAL (10th Latin American Congress of Metal Construction), which will be held on September 9, 2025, at Allianz Parque, is now open.

Accepted papers will be presented orally during the Techno-Scientific Sessions and published in the congress proceedings as an electronic book. At the discretion of the Scientific Committee and the authors, some papers may be presented in poster format.

Additionally, the best papers selected by the Committee will be published in the Journal of Steel Structures (REA), subject to the authors' consent.
(Some formatting adjustments may be requested to comply with the journal's guidelines).

SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS

If your abstract was approved, you received a confirmation email. If you have not received any communication, please contact us by e-mail sidnei.palatnik@gmail.com, stating the title of the its summary is what happened.

If you have received confirmation, you can now submit your complete work. Use the same access you used for your registration.

The full article template that can be obtained must be used clicking here.

The deadline for submitting Work is July 22, 2025.

REGISTRATION

To participate and submit your Techno-Scientific Contribution to the Construmetal 2025 event, please register on the Even3 website. The process is simple and quick:

  1. Create your login and password:
    These credentials will be needed to access the system and track your registration. Make sure to choose secure and memorable passwords.

  2. Fill in the requested information:
    Enter your personal details and other mandatory information in the form.

  3. Confirm your registration:
    Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

  4. Download the Abstract Template:
    To download the provided Abstract Template, you have two options:

    • On the event page, go to the "Submissions" area and click on "Abstract".

    • Log into the platform, select "Make Submission," and download the template from the "Submission Rules" button.

  5. Submit your abstract:

    • Access the "Submissions" area and select "Make Submission" to be redirected to the platform.

    • Within the platform, click "Make Submission" again and then "Submit."

    • Choose the "Abstract" modality, select the "Thematic Area," fill out the mandatory fields, and upload the file.

    • Finally, click "Submit" to send your abstract for evaluation by our Scientific Committee.

Language Requirements

Abstracts and full papers will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. For submissions in Spanish or English, the abstract must include a Portuguese translation at the end, followed by keywords.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstract Submission
    • Abstracts must be submitted in MS-Word (.doc/.docx), .odt, and PDF formats.
    • The submission must strictly follow the template provided on the CONSTRUMETAL 2025 website.
    • Abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and authors will be notified of acceptance.

  2. Full Paper Submission
    • Full papers related to accepted abstracts must also be submitted in MS-Word (.doc/.docx), .odt, and PDF formats.
    • Submissions must adhere to the complete template provided to authors whose abstracts are accepted.
    • Full papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and authors will be notified of any required revisions for approval.

Presentation Requirements

  • Approved works must be presented orally by the author or their representative during the Techno-Scientific Session.
  • Presentation schedules will be determined by the organizing committee and communicated to participants.
  • Posters, when applicable, will be displayed during the event on interactive totems in the Poster Session area, including virtual presentations with animations and sound through monitors integrated into the totems.

Publication in Proceedings

  • Accepted full papers, after incorporating any necessary revisions, will be published in the CONSTRUMETAL 2025 Proceedings, in the form of an electronic book registered with ISBN/ISSN and available on the event website.

Participation Fee

  • Participation in CONSTRUMETAL 2025 (oral presentation, publication in the Proceedings, and/or poster presentation) is subject to a fee of BRL 900.00 (nine hundred reais).
  • The fee includes up to three (3) registrations for the authors of the work, for access to all congress activities on the event day.
  • Payment must be made in the name of one of the authors upon acceptance, via the CONSTRUMETAL 2025 website.

Rights and Authorizations

  • The publication of accepted papers in the Proceedings is subject to the completion of an authorization form by the author(s), granting ABCEM the rights for full publication. The form will be available on the event website.
  • ABCEM reserves the right to include, publish, and disseminate only the papers that are effectively presented during the congress.

Presentation Format

  • Presentations during the congress may be made using PowerPoint, similar software, or a PDF version, provided that the official template is used. The use of the template is mandatory.
