This workshop will explore the main topics on scientific and technological information, showcasing how the field evolved in the last decades and the challenges faced by researchers to retrieve the most precise information. In a second part, CAS SciFinder-n will be showcased using examples from Inorganic Chemistry, on how to search for references, patents, substances, materials, reactions and related information. Finally, the peer-review process will be discussed in the light of ACS Publications most important journals in the area.
