Summary
The solar cells production is an immediate result in the face of the growing demand of the world's nations for alternative energy sources since there is a great need to diversify their energy matrices [1]. Under this context, that the study on organic solar cells - OSC's has become increasingly promising in the academic and technological environment, in view of its ability to convert solar energy into electricity, using in its manufacture materials that are little harmful to the environment such as polymers, and offering numerous advantages, such as, for example, good applicability, a low processing cost and even higher projections for efficiency values than the current ones for 1st generation cells (about 25%) [2]. Studies suggest that reduced graphene oxide (rGO) can be used as a transparent electrode in OSC's, in addition to that, this material can act as an electron acceptor in the active layer due to its electronic affinity, managing to contribute to a better transport of charges, and consequently, to an increase in the efficiency of the cell [3]. So this work, aims to present the advances in the production of electrospun nanofibers of poly(vinylidene fluoride) - PVDF with rGO as an additive, aiming at application in OSC's. The morphological characterizations results will be presented through by Optical Microscopy (OM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), in addition to DC electrical characterizations measurements.
