Summary
Organic photovoltaic devices (OPVs) are formed by linking different organic compounds, and it is common to find them organized in layers, where active layer the most important layer [1,2]. As the architecture used for the production of the device significantly interferes with its properties [3], the method of construction requires careful study, one of the techniques used in the production of these devices is electrospinning, it processes the material into nanofibers, among its characteristics as the main advantage of having a high surface area in relation to its volume, increasing the contact surface between light radiation and material. PCBM and P3HT are excellent options for the active layer, PCBM is a widely used material in photovoltaic devices, and researchers agree that its use is essential in the expansion of OPVs, mainly when used together with P3HT [4]. To produce nanofibers, these organic compounds were mixed with PVDF, when coating the materials of the active layer it acts as a protective agent, minimizing the degradation suffered by the influence of humidity and oxygen [5]. This study investigates the morphology and electrical properties of electrospun nanofibers of PCBM, P3HT, and PVDF under dark and light conditions. Our findings indicate that the conductivity of the material decreases when exposed to light, as observed through i x t and i x V measurements. Specifically, we noted a significant decrease in conductivity compared to the material's performance in the light and in the dark. Additionally, the study includes an analysis of the material's morphology to better understand its electrical properties. It is then possible to use the electrospinning technique for the production of electrospinning nanofibers of P3HT:PCBM:PVDF for use in photovoltaic devices. References [1] M. Green, E. Dunlop, J.
