The II Simpósio de Mulheres na Carcinologia / II Symposium of Women in Crustacean Science is an event promoted by the “Women in Crustacean Science” project. The event has an academic/scientific focus, with the aim of communicating and promoting crustacean research conducted by women around the world.

This event had as its main objective to connect women who work in the most diverse lines of research in carcinology, providing opportunities to identify new partnerships and strengthen existing ones, with the main core being the appreciation of scientific research produced by women.
