1st IC² Conference: Theory and Practice of Intelligent Cities

Overview
The 1st IC² Conference was a collaborative effort of the Smart City Business America Institute (SCBA) and the CONECTICIDADES Lab, with the academic support of the University of São Paulo and the international support of the United Nations University, is a platform for academics and practitioners to share their cutting-edge research and valuable experiences on intelligent cities. The conference covers a diverse range of topics, including technology, infrastructure, energy, sustainability, governance, digital transformation, quality of life, health, education, and safety.
Call for Papers
We invited authors to submit original short papers in English, up to 5 pages, formatted under the IEEE Guidelines. Submissions went through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by an esteemed panel of experts. Accepted short papers presented during the conference are here published in the proceedings. There were four main thematic tracks for submission:
• Track 1: Technology and Infrastructure
• Track 2: Energy and Sustainability
• Track 3: Governance and Digital Transformation
• Track 4: Quality of life, health, education, and safety
