Welcome to the Online Proceedings of the
10th Brazilian Conference on Natural Products (10th BCNP)
and the XXXVI Meeting on Micromolecular Evolution, Systematics, and Ecology (XXXVI RESEM)

It is with great satisfaction that we present the online proceedings of the 10th Brazilian Conference on Natural Products (BCNP) and the XXXVI Meeting on Micromolecular Evolution, Systematics, and Ecology (RESEM), held from November 4 to 7, 2025, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Organized by the Division of Natural Products of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ), the BCNP has consolidated itself as one of the leading international scientific meetings in the field of natural products, bringing together researchers, students, and professionals from academia and industry. Since 2007, the joint realization of BCNP and RESEM has provided a solid and stimulating forum for scientific discussion, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas on advances in natural products research.

The scientific contributions published in these proceedings reflect the diversity and quality of the research presented during the event. The program encompassed a broad range of topics, including biodiversity and natural products, biological and pharmacological activities, chemical ecology, manufacturing and quality control of herbal drugs and essential oils, biosynthesis and molecular biology of natural products, metabolomic approaches, and recent advances in isolation techniques and structural elucidation of secondary metabolites.

These proceedings represent the collective effort of authors, reviewers, and organizers, and stand as a valuable record of the scientific discussions and innovations shared during the meeting. We hope that this collection will serve as a reference and inspiration for future research and collaborations in the field of natural products and related areas.
