Welcome to the XXV Brazilian Congress of Ergonomics and Human Factors!

ABERGO 2025 is an event organized by the Brazilian Association of Ergonomics and Human Factors (ABERGO), held annually, with the objective of promoting a space for interaction and discussion among all those interested in Ergonomics for the development of the area.

The 2025 edition has as its central theme: "Artificial Intelligence and Technological Innovations: Challenges for Ergonomics and Human Factors"

In this edition, the congress also includes important international meetings:

  • The IX International Congress of Ergonomics and Human Factors, promoted in partnership with ULAERGO – Latin American Union of Ergonomics and Human Factors;

  • The BRICS Plus Network on Ergonomics and Human Factors Meeting.

The city of Fortaleza – CE will host the congress, which will take place at Fábrica de Negócios, Praia de Iracema, from November 4 to 7, 2025.

The program includes lectures with national and international guests, forums, round tables, short courses, free theme sessions, poster sessions and exhibitions. There will also be awards for the best works.

Approved papers will be published in the annals of the event, and the activities will take place in the morning and afternoon shifts.

Templates for oral and poster presentation

The results of the evaluations of the submitted papers are being released in a continuous flow and will be released by 09/15 at the latest. 

We inform that, after this date, all information related to the presentation sessions in oral or poster format will be disclosed.

Brazilian Ergonomics Professionals Certification Exam - ENERGO

The Brazilian Ergonomics Professionals Certification Test (ENERGO) is part of the SisCEB – Brazilian Ergonomics Certification System, is internationally recognized by the IEA (International Ergonomics Association). We are the first Latin American system to receive this endorsement, and the fifth in the world with this accreditation!

The Certification Test will be applied during the Brazilian Congress of Ergonomics and Human Factors – ABERGO 2025.
