Sobre o evento:

O I Seminário Internacional do Centro de Estudos Avançados – Coordenadoria da Ásia terá como eixo central o tema “O sul global em perspectiva” e título “Nova ordem, velho consensus”. O evento ocorrerá nos dias 26, 27, 28 e 29 de outubro de 2021 e está sendo realizado pela Coordenadoria da Ásia - CEÁSIA da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. 

O evento se insere em um esforço de colocar a Universidade Federal de Pernambuco no centro das discussões sobre Relações Internacionais no Brasil, bem como contribuir e fortalecer os debates a respeito da repercussão da pandemia de COVID-19 no cenário mundial, das reconfigurações hegemônicas, das inovações e revoluções tecnológicas tendo o Sul global em perspectiva, das relações sino-africanas, dentre outras temáticas.

About the event: 

The I International Conference of the Center for Advanced Studies – Asia Coordination will have as its central axis the theme “The Global South in perspective” and the title “New order, old consensus”. The event will take place on October 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2021 and is being held by the Asia Coordination - CEÁSIA of the Federal University of Pernambuco.

 The event is part of an effort to place the Federal University of Pernambuco at the center of discussions on International Relations in Brazil, as well as to contribute to and strengthen debates about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world scene, of hegemonic reconfigurations, of technological innovations and revolutions with the global South in perspective, Sino-African relations, among other themes.
