The International Symposium on Drug Discovery for Tropical & Infectious Diseases (ISDD-TID 2026) is an international scientific meeting dedicated to discussing recent advances, key challenges, and future perspectives in drug discovery and development targeting tropical, infectious, and neglected diseases.
The symposium will bring together leading national and international researchers from diverse fields—including medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, and clinical research—with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, scientific exchange, and the strengthening of academic and institutional collaborations.
ISDD-TID 2026 will cover the full spectrum of the drug discovery pipeline, from target identification and validation, rational drug design, and preclinical development, to translational strategies and clinical perspectives. The event also seeks to highlight innovative research efforts addressing diseases of high global health relevance, particularly those disproportionately affecting underserved and neglected populations.
Hosted in Brazil, ISDD-TID 2026 aims to establish itself as a reference international forum, promoting the integration of basic and applied research, supporting the training of early-career scientists, and encouraging the development of collaborative networks in the field of drug discovery for tropical and infectious diseases.
