X International Symposium on Animal Biology of Reproduction

The International Symposium on Animal Biology of Reproduction (ISABR) is an international biennial event initiated in 2006 by the Brazilian College of Animal Reproduction. ISABR is dedicated to basic scientific research related to animal reproduction, encompassing cellular, molecular, and biochemical aspects. Over its editions, ISABR has firmly established itself as the leading scientific event in the field, drawing researchers from across South America.

The X ISABR will feature distinguished speakers from various countries, addressing topics such as "omics" applications in ovarian physiology, molecular control of oocyte maturation, extracellular vesicles, biomarkers in pregnancy, and advancements in in vitro embryo production. A groundbreaking aspect of the X ISABR is its consecutive occurrence with the 14th Biennial Conference of the Association of Applied Animal Andrology, scheduled for July 3 to 5, 2024, at the same convention center. This partnership with the international scientific society is expected to attract a diverse audience of researchers.

Typically, the event attracts between 150 and 300 participants per edition, who are encouraged to submit abstracts of their work for poster presentations. Additionally, the scientific committee will select works for oral presentations, with a focus on postgraduate and undergraduate research. The city of Fortaleza, CE, Brazil was chosen as the location for the tenth edition of ISABR due to its infrastructure and appeal, fostering an environment conducive to exchange among participants and speakers.
