The 9th International School on Production of Biologics is the 9th edition of an intensive training course that has been periodically organized at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The programme of the course will address important technical aspects as well as regulatory and market issues regarding this quickly growing area of Biotechnology.
From the past editions of the event, we know that it is usually appreciated by both beginners and experienced people interested in the development and production of biologics applied to human health. Considering the past seven editions, this intensive course has already congregated approximately 1000 people from all continents.
The event will be held at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), under the auspices of the Cell Culture Engineering Laboratory (LECC) of the Chemical Engineering Program of COPPE/UFRJ. The event will take place in the conference "Auditório COPPE", at the following address: Av. Horácio Macedo 2030 - CT - block G - room G122, Ilha do Fundão district, Rio de Janeiro/RJ, CEP 21941-598.

Registrations are open until November 30th, 2025. Early-bird registrations with discount are available until November 18th, 2025.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Post-docs and undergraduate, M.Sc. and Ph.D. students must necessarily present their proof of status (university enrollment or official scholarship proof) on 1st day of event to receive badge and to have access to the event. The lack of a valid proof of status will make registration null or make it necessary to pay the difference to the value of a non-academic registration.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING INVOICE ISSUANCE (EMISSÃO DE NOTA FISCAL)
During registration, after entering your personal participant data, the next window allows you to enter different data in the Payer Data section for later invoice issuance (emissão de Nota Fiscal). The payer data appears and can be changed in the same window as the payment method.
Coppetec Foundation, who is receiving the payments of registrations, will send an invoice (Nota Fiscal) to each attendee who registers.
