The 7th Integrated Health Day will be held on September 14, 15 and 16, 2026, at night, at the CRIO of the University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (UNESC), in Criciúma, Santa Catarina. The event is organized by the Central Directory of Students of the University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (UNESC).
With the theme "Defending the SUS, caring for the people: humanized care with social justice", the Journey seeks to constitute a space for training, critical reflection and dialogue on the current challenges of Brazilian public health. The proposal is based on the understanding that defending the Unified Health System also means facing inequalities, expanding rights and building care practices committed to the concrete needs of people and territories. The event will be open to undergraduate and graduate students from different courses in the health area, residents, professors, researchers, professionals, SUS workers, representatives of movements and institutions, as well as members of the external community.
Over the three days, the Journey will feature an opening ceremony, lectures, dialogue tables and activities aimed at bringing the university, health services, workers, students and the community closer together. At the end of each night''''s program, there will be a coffee break on the days of the event and integration between participants and guests.
The Journey will also feature the submission and presentation of academic papers, valuing research, experience reports, extension projects, teaching practices, professional experiences and other health-related productions. The 7th Integrated Health Day aims to strengthen student participation, the production of socially committed knowledge and dialogue between different areas, professions and experiences. It is an invitation to collectively reflect on the present and future of health, reaffirming the SUS as a public asset, a right of all and a responsibility of the State.
