The 2nd GEELLE International Seminar brings together researchers, language educators, and students to discuss contemporary issues in language education, teacher education, and language studies. GEELLE (Grupo de Estudos sobre Educação Linguística em Línguas Estrangeiras) is a study group affiliated with the Graduate Program in English Linguistic and Literary Studies at the University of São Paulo (PPGELLI-USP). The theme of this edition is "Language Education: Political, Plural, and Inter-/Transdisciplinary Perspectives."
Held online on 12 and 13 November 2026, the seminar will be conducted in two languages: the first day will be held in Portuguese, and the second day in English, fostering dialogue among researchers from Brazil and abroad.
In its second edition, the seminar continues the discussions promoted by GEELLE, expanding the dialogue between universities, languages, language, and society.
